Mirazur sits where France nearly becomes Italy, with gardens tumbling toward the Mediterranean and Mauro Colagreco's cooking making the border feel irrelevant. The restaurant's personality comes from that layered geography: citrus, herbs, flowers, vegetables, seafood, mountains and sea all close enough to blur. Menus follow the rhythms of the gardens and seasons rather than a fixed grand French template. The result is luminous and highly composed, but its best quality is a sense of life still growing just outside the kitchen door.
